Featured study
Begin with Christ's invitation in 3 Nephi 11. Return to the passage at your own pace, or follow the four readings below over a month of study.
Official Book of Mormon videoWatch, then read
Read 3 Nephi 11:1-17 alongside the film. Notice the invitation to listen, the Savior's introduction of Himself and the people approaching Him individually.
The full film includes destruction before His appearance. You can begin with the written account if that is a better place for you today.
Continue this studyBegin with the Savior
Let the films introduce the scene, then let the scripture deepen it. The Bible Videos are dramatizations of the scriptural record; performances, camera choices and setting details are not additional scripture. Notice who speaks, who listens and what the text actually says.

Carry this topic into AskChrist in the Book of Mormon
These films follow the resurrected Christ's ministry in 3 Nephi. Read the passage before or after watching and compare His invitation to individuals with the testimony in John 20. A visual portrayal can help you imagine the account while the scriptural words remain the source.

A question to sit with
Where do you see Christ making room for people whose needs are different?
Carry this topic into AskPrayer and revelation
A question, a quiet moment or an experience of kindness can become a starting place for reflection. Listen to the different experiences shared here. Take time to pray and reflect; you do not need to feel what someone else felt or have every question settled.

A film can introduce people and events you want to understand better. Read their accounts alongside it, noticing when each was written and what the writer remembered. Some details in a dramatization come from the filmmakers rather than the record.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
A short video can introduce a subject without giving it all the context it deserves. After watching, write down its main claim or question. Open the named scripture and read the surrounding verses: who is speaking, what is happening, and what problem is being addressed? Notice which parts of the message come directly from the text and which are the speaker's interpretation or application.
For a resurrection message, for example, John 20:1-31 supplies a sequence of witnesses and the author's purpose, not simply a hopeful phrase. The Living Christ study walks through that sequence. From there, the life-after-death study explores the next question about resurrection and human hope.
If a message raises a concern rather than offering comfort, keep that question. You can reread the source, explore another study, or pause. A meaningful response does not have to be immediate or positive. Return to a theme above whenever you want to continue.
